Today we visited the
Arlington national Cemetery and it was very emotional. When we went to the
cemetery there were over 400,000 gravestones representing the soldiers who died
for our country. The second most memorable thing today was when we went to the
Iwo Jima statue today. The Iwo Jima statue represents 6 Marines that fought for
our country and the whole Marine Corp. Last but not least, we went to the Pentagon. The Pentagon was hit on 9/11 and
the memorial represents the people who had died that day in the Pentagon and the airplane. Today
I saw people cry whom I have never seen cry before. Most touching, and sad day
this whole week.
